What can be analyzed with MoleExpert micro?

The software has been developed for the analysis and measurement of pigmented skin lesions in the caucasian population.

What are the hardware requirements?

• Standard Windows® PC (Windows 98SE or higher)
• 800x600 pixels screen resolution
• Intel® Pentium II processor with 266 MHz or faster
• 64 MB RAM or more

Can I use my images for the analysis?

The most important requirement is a good perceptibility of the lesions. Standardized illumination is required!

If your are uncertain about the acceptability of your images for the analysis, please send some images per email to DatInf GmbH.

Which image formats are supported?

The current software version supports

• BMP (Windows/OS2 Bitmap)
• JPG (JPEG)
• PNG (Portable Network Graphic)
• TIF (Tagged Image File Format)
• DICOM (on request)

How does the software know the magnification?

Modern cameras save the magnification inside the images. For measured optical devices the magnification can be computed with special software included in the MoleExpert package.

Is MoleExpert micro available in other languages?

The software is availabe in English and German. Adaptation to other languages is very simple and can be carried out by translating one text file into the required language.
